Meet Shena

Hi, I'm Shena Dovedoff, Pediatric Sleep Consultant, founder of Shena Dovedoff Sleep Consulting and proud graduate of The Sleep Sense Training and Certification Program.  

 

When I am not talking or coaching about sleep, you will find me having fun adventures with my wonderful family. I am a mother to three beautiful children, Jordyn, Taylor and Blake and wife to a very busy Firefighter. My husband Josh not only spends countless hours of his time as a First Responder but he is also a devoted father and my business partner.

 

I spent years as a sleep deprived Mama, because my children did not learn how to sleep on their own. My lack of sleep was causing me to be mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted and it was staking it's toll on my whole family. 

I needed help and fast! That was when I sot out the help of a sleep consultant. Learning the strategies to teach my little babes to sleep through the night was a game charger for our entire family. My amazing experience lead me to pursue a career in Sleep Consulting. 

As a Sleep Consultant, I have dedicated my professional career to teaching parents the strategies to get their babies,  toddlers and children to sleep through the night.  My unique system lets me work together with parents just like you to find the best method that suits your Childs unique personality.

While most resources aimed at children’s sleeping issues “prescribe” a specific set of “rules” that you MUST follow and take a ‘one-size fits all’ stance, my methods provide flexibility to teach you the necessary sleep skills while accommodating different parenting styles. The bottom line is that you, as a parent, need to be comfortable with your new sleep plan to ensure that it will work for your child!
